About the Awards

The Child of Wales Awards will return bigger and better!

The awards celebrate the inspirational achievements of remarkable young people across Wales with a wonderful evening filled with wonderful entertainment and surprise celebrity guests.

Covering every part of Wales, our categories award outstanding personal courage, bravery, sporting and creative achievements; and also recognise the children who help others – championing causes in their communities, protecting the environment, caring for others and fundraising.

We shine a bright light on an amazingly brave group of children and young people who face hardships and challenges every day, yet never give up, never stop trying – inspiring those around them in the process.

The awards wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of businesses who share the passion of shining a light on these remarkable young people. We do have some sponsorship opportunities available, so If you would like to help us honour some remarkable young people, then we would love to hear from you.

The night promises to be an unforgettable and inspirational evening from start to finish. Some 500 guests will join us to celebrate the bravery and incredible stories of young people from across Wales – sharing their stories and achievements.

It will be a glamorous and star-studded night with a number of high-profile Welsh sports stars in attendance, and many celebrities, as well as special guests playing important roles during the evening. With excellent entertainment in the pipeline, it is a night not to be missed.

But the real stars of the evening, of course, are the young deserving winners of the Child of Wales Awards. We are sure that guests will be wowed by some awe inspiring stories of some incredible children and young people from across Wales.

It will be an uplifting and emotional night of celebration.
