We are delighted to announce that Bluestone National Park Resort is supporting the Child of Wales Awards once again by sponsoring the Environmental Champion Award. This is the second year running that Bluestone National Park Resort has sponsored one of our awards and we’re proud to have their continued support for next year.

Located in Pembrokeshire, below the Preseli Hills and surrounded by woodland, Bluestone National Park Resort is much more than just a holiday destination. With over 500 acres of nature, you can run, play eat and enjoy the freedom of the outdoors – there is something for everyone.

The Child of Wales Awards will return in 2023, this year taking place on 24 March at Mercure Holland House Hotel, Cardiff. The awards will shine a light on the incredible achievements of children and young people across Wales.

Nominations for the awards will close on 21 October 2022, and we know there are still some stories to be told. Nominating is easy, simply head to our website  and complete the relevant form.

Yvonne Buckingam, Director of Commercial at Bluestone National Park Resort said,

“Bluestone National Park Resort is once again proud to support the Child of Wales Awards and specifically the Environmental Champion Award. Each year the awards highlight and celebrate the inspirational children and young people who go that extra mile to support family, friends and the community, often in the face of adversity.

“Each and every award finalist is a true inspiration for others, and we want to acknowledge their hard work and dedication. It is particularly fitting for us to support the Environmental Champion Award as the finalists will have undertaken something exceptional in terms of innovation or dedication to help protect and preserve the environment.

“We are all too aware about how important the environment is. For Bluestone, we have always placed the environment at the centre of what we do as a business, an employer, and a business at the heart of our community in West Wales.

“We look forward to seeing and hearing about the amazing young people and the work they have and are doing to support and protect the environment. We wish all the finalists the very best.”

Of the partnership, Awards Founder Blanche Sainsbury said,

“Bluestone have been a part of the awards since their inception in 2019 and their continued support is truly amazing. We are so grateful of their help in allowing us to recognise some amazing young people from Wales.”
