The Child of Wales awards are the first awards of their kind and were incepted to solely honour the achievements of children and young people, and the charities that support them, from all across Wales. The second annual awards, took place on Friday 24th March 2023 at Mercure Cardiff Holland House Hotel, were hosted by Gethin Jones and had a host of famous faces in the audience.

Our 2023 winners and guests were treated to performances from The Child of Wales Choir, formed by students from the Mark Jermin stage school and from the charity Hands up for Downs. Junior Eurovision 2022 UK representative, Freya Skye, performed her Eurovision entry “Lose My Head”. Amazing male voice choir Only Men Aloud closed the evening with a medley of songs selected especially for the awards.

We have had numerous articles featured across Welsh media publications, as well as national titles.
