Date: 26th September 2022 | By: national

Nominations for the awards are being shortlisted and prepared to hand over to our panel of incredible judges on Monday, 7th November. With over 200 nominations received, it has been a difficult shortlisting process and it is not an enviable task for our judges to undertake. All of the stories we have received are truly amazing and really showcase how incredible our nations young people are.

Our sponsors are an integral part of the awards, and we continue to be grateful to the wonderful businesses across Wales that are helping us to honour some amazing children.

We are thrilled to announce Equinox Physiotherapy Partnership ltd as the sponsors of the Courageous Family Award.

Equinox Physiotherapy has been providing specialist Physiotherapy services for over 20 years. The team have a wealth of knowledge that ensures each client accesses the most appropriate and evidence-based therapy input possible. Their state-of-the-art clinic in Crosshands runs a variety of specialist services for both adults and children. Their team also travel across Wales to provide sessions at schools, gyms, care homes, hospitals and peoples homes. Their charity spur Ski4All Wales was established in 2010 and gained charitable status in 2014. Most of the equinox team give up every Wednesday to support adaptive ski sessions at Pembrey ski centre to enable any child or adult with any level of diminished ability to enjoy the thrills of adaptive skiing in addition to the physical benefits of time spent outdoors experiencing activities with peers.

Bethan Drinkall, Director and Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist at Equinox Physiotherapy Partnership Ltd said Equinox Physiotherapy are utterly delighted to sponsor this year’s Courageous Family award category at the 2023 Child of Wales Awards.
