Date: 26th September 2022 | By: national

Anticipation is building as we await the final decisions from our judges. There are just 10 days until we learn the results and find out who our 2023 winners will be – and we cannot wait.

We are continuing to shine a light on our amazing sponsors, without whom these awards would not be possible.

We are delighted to announce G.D Harries & Sons as sponsors of the Bravery Award.

GD Harries is one of Wales’s largest independent suppliers of aggregates, they are a civil engineering company delivering multi-million pound infrastructure projects. Established in 1977, they have grown hugely over the last 45 years, acquiring six quarries as well as going into asphalt and concrete production. Their maroon and yellow lorries are well known and regularly seen on the landscape of West Wales.

Even as GD Harries has grown, it has always remained a hands-on family-run business, with particular emphasis on safety and sustainability. Investing in local workforce and local suppliers, they pride themselves on their technical expertise, customer service and the highest levels of quality.

Nick Cleary, Construction Services Director at GD Harries, said “As a Welsh business committed to supporting local communities, we are incredibly proud to be able to support the Bravery Award at this amazing event”

Blanche Sainsbury, founder of the awards, said It has been fantastic to have so many new Welsh businesses join us this year and we are thrilled that GD Harries is one of them. They are so well known in the West of Wales and it’s a pleasure to be working with them this year.

We will be forever grateful for the support of all of our sponsors”
