Preparations for the 2023 awards are well underway, with applications for nominations closing in just over 1 week. Nominations are open in 11 categories and can be submitted through the awards website.

Over the coming weeks and months, we will continue to announce our sponsors and today are delighted to unveil Princes Gate Water as sponsor of the Child of Courage (U13) award.

Sourced from organic Farmland in rural Pembrokeshire, Princes Gate Water was established in 1991 and was originally bottled by hand. Since their inception, demand for their water has increased dramatically and in 2015 they invested in a high-speed production line to ensure they could supply more customers.

Princes Gate Water are passionate about being environmentally friendly, and were the first soft drinks manufacturer to become self-sufficient due to their investment in wind turbines and solar panels. In 2016 they started using their rPET bottles and just 4 years later, Princes Gate launched their first bottle made from 100% recycled plastic.

Sam Atkinson, Head of Sales & Marketing at Princes Gate Water, said “At Princes Gate Mineral Water, we are honoured to be supporting the Child of Wales Awards. Supporting and encouraging children from across Wales to achieve their goals has always been close to our hearts and so to be involved in such a special, inspiring event is truly a privilege.”

“We are immensely proud to be sponsoring and celebrating the Child of Courage (Under 13) at the Child of Wales Awards.”

“We would like to congratulate every nominee; you are all winners in our eyes.”

Awards Founder, Blanche Sainsbury, said “Princes Gate Water have been huge supporters of the awards since their inception in 2019 and we are so pleased to have them involved once again.

Their passion for supporting the children of Wales is incredible and we are so grateful of their continued support”
