Thomas Carroll Group support awards with sponsorship of the Young Performer Award
The Child of Wales Awards will take place in less than 5 months’ time on Friday 24th March 2023 at Mercure Holland House Hotel in Cardiff. Nominations for the awards closed on Friday, 21st October, and we have been overwhelmed with the stories of remarkable young people from across Wales.
Nominations will now go through a shortlisting process before they are passed onto the judges on Monday 7th November, with winners being contacted in early December. All entrants will be notified as to whether their application was successful or not at the beginning of December.
We wouldn’t be able to shine a light on these amazing children without the incredible support of our sponsors, and today we are delighted to announce Thomas Carroll Group as the sponsor for the Young Performer Award.
With more than 50 years’ experience, Thomas Carroll Group plc is one of the UK’s leading independent providers of business insurance broking, personal insurance broking, employee benefits, wealth management, health & safety and employment law consultancy.
Rhys Tomas, CEO of Thomas Carroll Group, said of their involvement “This is our first year sponsoring the Child of Wales Awards and we're so excited and honoured to be a part of it. At Thomas Carroll we pride ourselves on supporting our local community and Welsh charities as much as we can. The awards help raise vital funds for charities that support young people across Wales, so we knew this was something we had to be involved with.
It’s so important that we recognise and celebrate the extraordinary achievements of our young people, many of which face hardships, yet remain positive and compassionate despite their struggles. Their bravery, courage and kindness is something to be deeply admired.
We’re delighted to be sponsoring the Young Performer Award and are looking forward to meeting all the nominees next March and celebrating these inspiring young people.”
Awards Founder, Blanche Sainsbury, said “We are honoured to have Thomas Carroll Group on board for the awards this year, their support within the community and with charities is amazing.
We really couldn’t recognise these wonderful children without the support of businesses such as this, and we will be forever grateful for their support.”
