Amelia Major – Young Performer, shortlisted nominee

9-year-old Amelia is a ballroom and Latin dancer who trains with the Ultimate Ballroom Dance School in Carmarthenshire. She is extremely dedicated to her art and is passionate about achieving the best results she can.

Amelia has hyper mobility syndrome and is currently awaiting an assessment under the neurological diversity specialty, so everyday life is a struggle for her. She doesn't let this hold her back and is completely committed to dance, she is also keen to demonstrate that despite any physical or other challenges she faces, dance is for everyone!

At the ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) grand finals in Blackpool in 2021, Amelia won 1^st place in both Ballroom and Latin SA Juvenile sections.

Amelia has such a fantastic attitude and is inspiring to all.
