Many top welsh companies attended the Principality Child of Wales Awards sponsors lunch last Wednesday 18th January at Principality House in Cardiff.

After the success of the inaugural awards in March 2022, the awards have returned bigger and better than before. Once again celebrating the inspirational achievements of remarkable young people across Wales, while raising vital funds for charities in Wales dedicated to helping children: Ty Hafan & Hope House.

Taking place on Friday 24th March 2023 at Mercure Holland House Hotel Cardiff, the evening will undoubtedly be emotional, inspirational and unforgettable for everyone involved. Once again it will be one of the most glamorous, high-profile events in the charity calendar, with the attendance of many media personalities, celebrities and sports stars, along with performances from some astonishing artists.

Covering every part of Wales, the awards recognise outstanding personal courage, bravery, sporting and creative achievements; and also the children who help others – championing causes in their communities, protecting the environment, caring for others and fundraising.

We shine a bright light on an amazingly brave group of children and young people who face hardships and challenges every day, yet never give up.

The sponsors lunch was attended by Redkite Solicitors, Trade Centre Wales, Westacres Ltd, Bluestone National Park Resort, Equinox Physiotherapy Partnership Ltd, Thomas Carroll, Gower College Swansea, Princes Gate Water, GD Harries & Sons, Castell Howell, Swansea City Football Club, Owens Group, Mrs Bucket, Route Media, Mark Jermin Stage School and Forrest Print. Guests received a warm welcome by Vicky Wales, Chief Customer Officer and her team who explained why Principality Building Society chose to be headline sponsor of the awards. The awards celebrate the inspiring children of Wales, their families and the charities that support them. Principality Building Society was formed around the ethos of helping people to prosper at every stage of life, doing the right things for their members, staff and communities across Wales.

Blanche Sainsbury, Founder said “The awards are not possible without the support of key businesses whom have acknowledged the importance of recognising these incredible young heroes of Wales. On behalf of the nominees and winners I would like to thank our sponsors for the support they have given to enable this event to take place”
